The 5094-AEN2TR adapter is an Ethernet/IP adapter that supports RJ 45 interface and is designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This adapter is designed to facilitate high-speed data transmission between Flex 5000 input/output modules and Logix 5000 controllers over Ethernet/IP networks. This adapter model can support up to 16 Flex 5000 I/O modules simultaneously. This adapter is intended for industrial environments only. It has an open housing and is intended for indoor applications only. It can be mounted using a DIN rail. The adapter is also equipped with a removable terminal block. The 5094-AEN2TR adapter is equipped with a reset lever and a DIN rail lock side by side. The IP address label is located on the front of the adapter. In addition to the functional ground, there are two RJ 45 Ethernet ports. The Ethernet address of the adapter is also located next to the port.
The 5094-AEN2TR adapter is also equipped with LED status indicators. The LEDs display the machine status, network activity, and data and information transmission through LINK 1 and LINK 2. It is also equipped with an IP address rotary switch and an LED indicator. The adapter is certified to c-UL-us, CE, RCM, KC, and other standards. It supports 18 to 32 V DC voltage and a rated current of 1880 mA. It can withstand a surge current of 5700 mA for a duration of 100 milliseconds. The operating backplane current of the 5094-AEN2TR adapter is 1800 mA and the backplane voltage is 15 V DC. The working environment should be free of dust, stains, and harmful vapors and gases.
